It played very well. The Americans on the other side of the creek are not nearly as good a quality as the British. In these rules a unit rated an "A" is very difficult to stop. Most of the Americans on the other side of the creek were rated "E" or "F".
In the actual battle the British tried three times to cross the creek before Cornwallis put an end to it. His troops had made a long march and were constantly under fire the entire trip. It was already dark and he saw no way that Washington could escape. As we all know it didn't work out that way.
