Nice to know it works OK with Napoleonics.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Excellent review.
I played these rules twice last weekend.
I liked them a lot.
Simple and fun,
can't ask for more than that. :)

Thanks for posting. I am envious, not just of the nice table set up,
but you are playing OUTSIDE! This is unheard of here in Britain.
I have played R&P now 9 times & enjoyed each game. Most have been
ACW (now I have played more ACW games in the last 25 days, than I had
in the previous 25 years!) We have tried it out with AWI, also fun, but not yet
Napoleonic's. We will though, inspired by your efforts, also have planned
Indian Mutiny (got figures already for that) & Jacobite Rebellion (Gathering the
clans now).
A good, simple, fun set of rules. Yes a bit stylistic, but I heartily recommend them.
In my latest playing (2 games, 1 morning. Can't be bad) I found myself thinking
more about my tactics than where to find an obscure rule in the book.
Despite my Confederates driving the Yankies  from the field on both occasions,
my officer (having fled the field in the 2nd. battle) threw a 2 & a 1 (3!!!!!)
on the risk to officer table & DIED!!! I had only just got him up to Lieutenant &
was just a few points short of Captain, still they did bury him as a Colonel.
Much fun was had. If you haven't tried R&P yet, please do.

Thank you for the post, the napoleonic aspect really interests me and that is a lovely photo of your splendid troops.

Nice table and great looking armies, thanks for posting. I have only played  one game of R&P so far, with my F&I War collection. I really enjoyed it and thought it seemed to run well. I have played all the Lion Rampant "stable" of rules and each set seems to improve on the previous one.
