When done they will be nice additions to my 1946 force as well as my Weird War setting.

Just for handy helping hints (pics say so much more then words...though I suddenly get deja-vu's to Robot Wars

And the Walker. Ripped off the 251 and replaced it with a 250. Much better now (remember this will be for 20mm, not 28mm. The 251 was just to big to be feasible in that scale.......well, as much as "feasible" has meaning in Pulp anyway...)

Splendid conversions! I really like the 250 walker--good call on the size.

I'll let the pic do most of the talking.

The gun mount on the walker will be on the left and right of the rear, mounted on the sides, like in the original Gear Krieg models. At the moment I'm working on making 2 usefull sets of lower arms to mount underneath the (former) engine compartment. I will not be doing the bigger arms that hold inflated Panzerfausts or anything, the little arms will have to do.

Another update.

And to silence a few local non-believers who say GW rules supreme bla bla bla I've had decided to make an add-on for my Inquisitor models for this particular vehicle, so it can be used as a combat servitror or droid or what not. Of course, this makes it very usefull for you 28mm pulpers outhere as well :)

Basis SHQ Goliath, beefed up with plasticcard, brass and 2 1:87 beerkegs.

Johann, these are pretty neat! I can imagine them patrolling outside of some heavily-guarded facility, ready to take on all comers. The TV cameras are a nice touch, too.

Pete: That is exactly what they are for. I printed out a few of the Stalag Luft buildings to use for this, a bit of trial and error this weekend to see if I can get it right.

Grimm: Hmm, I didn't know "wrong size" existed in the wonderfull world of pulp.  :P

As soon as I have the time I'll take a few pics of the two scaled next to Copplestone figs or other, you'll see that no matter what scale you use them in they will be perfect, as long as you picture what they are supposed to be....

Just look at the latest, smaller one as some sort of pet robot or what not. I could even convert it with a vacuumcleaner if I wanted. Ditto for the bigger one. If I where to put the same things in 6mm they'd be monstertanks for instance. Endless possibilities, and that is why I love to scratchbuild, the smaller, the better.

Eye of the beholder, I say ....

Sorry Grimm, didn't mean to sound mean (is that correct english btw?), hope it didn't come across like that :)

Shortish update, nothing major...having some trouble with getting the look I want (this is attempt 3 btw)
