Some 28mm ECW Dragoons Painted

Still working through my back log of ECW figures, including these Warlord Games Dragoons I inherited from Jeff.

More pictures on my blog.

Very nice, I like these a lot (being a Dragoon for the Army of Parliament some years ago albeit without a horse).  The green bandoliers are unusual, I'm familiar with them in blue and just plain wood.  Lovely figures and kudos for the painting and basing.

I've often thought of depicting my former regiment in miniature but I don't need anymore projects.

Thank you guys  :).

Perhaps I am misremebering, but I was under the impression that the powder canisters (and some pike shafts) were occasionally painted green. Perhaps a wood preservative with copper in it.

My mate was in the Sealed Knot for years. He told me that the wooden apostles and other wooden powder flasks were painted or lacquered to make them waterproof and can be any colour, (bearing in mind of course the available pigments of the time) so no worries.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
