Yep, I agree with what everyone says. It’s a pity their last KS was rather expensive because I would have liked to own some of the sculpts.

Next up the Hedge Wizard and Witch pack. I wanted the Hedge Wizard to have tattered old fine clothes, ruined by years on the road.

'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

And a filthy, manky Hill Giant proving that male pattern baldness is not restricted to humans.

Fantastic work.  Your gritty realistic painting really brings these miniatures to life.  :-*

Splendid! I love the "neighbours from Hell" vibe that you've given your hill giants.

New releases available soon - Fenodyree (Goat Beastmen, very like Runequest Broo) command, including the big Leader/Champion, Shaman, Horn Blower and Standard Bearer. Also, Svartalfar (like nasty little subterranean Goblin things) with shields (the same models as the standard Svartalfar, just with wicker shields added).

I like the mix of Goat-headed and Human-headed styles with the Fenodyree. I specifically wanted the standard to have a Demonic design that was more occult than fantasy. I Googled this (no idea what it really is, but it cropped up a lot of times) and the letter symbols should really be at the point of the star inside the outer circle, but it was too small so I put them inside the ring instead.

The Svartalfar shields have a central boss, which was tricky to paint because these guys are meant to be stone-age gribblies who hate metal of all kinds and avoid it. Thus I painted the boss as a black stone with a bone surround (vertebrae or fingers in my imagination). I figured the stone might be a talisman of some sort, perhaps a mystical link to a controlling influence. Or something.

Beautiful miniatures selection and paintwork ... still speechless about the banner on the Fenodyree and the hedge wizzard.

Very cool that all your spell casters come in pairs ^.^

Thanks guys, very kind.

still speechless about the banner on the Fenodyree and the hedge

So easy it's embarrassing. I literally just painted it a darkish brown, then dry-brushed in towards the centre in successive highlights, finishing with a nice cream colour. This was very lightly drybrushed around the outside edges, just to delineate a bit. The symbol is something I Googled then carefully painted on in a diluted dark red colour. It went wrong a couple of times (ever tried painted a circle on a wobbly surface?!) so I had to touch up with the cream again here and there, but it wasn't overly taxing in truth, just a bit slow.

Superb brushwork, your style really suits these figures.
 :-* :-*

I like the fact that they are 'stone age'.
Both of those species could potentially be another 'tribe' for my Palaeo Diet project.
Hmmm....
