Scratchbuilt chaos temple terrain
« on: September 05, 2018, 01:22:30 PM »
Hi everyone,

Here's some pics of my most recently completed terrain project, built from skip-rescued foam, mdf dinner placemat, balsa scraps and a variety of plastic and resin detail bits added, all based around a central stack of skulls (cheapo polystyrene halloween decorations I picked up last October!)

If anyone is interested you can read a stage by stage build post at www.ghyran.blogspot.co.uk

Cheers!
Mark

Very nice! Reminds me of the crazy terrain projects in the old White Dwarves (back in the eighties).  :)

Yes, but I'm going to need a bigger box to carry it all in!

Awesome looking terrain, blog looks good too. Definitely one to follow!. Does AOS skirmish suffer much from being played on a smaller board as it is something I have looked into but I don't have space for a 3 foot square board?
