Nirvana

I've reached that stage of bliss and content.
Of equilibrium.

I am up to date with the lead mountain.

There's nothing left to paint. They're all done.

And yet...and yet...
It feels strangely hollow. My raison d'etre has been taken from me. I feel like the Monster at the death of Frankenstein.
It's not a natural state of affairs.

It does feel unnatural. Iíve been keeping up and my best gaming buddy saved me by giving me way more models again. No more finished by afternoon projects.

Now I feel normal again.  :D

Clearly there is something wrong with you. Any normal wargamer's butterfly enthusiasms should far out pace his painting output  lol

It's OK, guys.
You can step down. Normal service has been resumed.
On the way home today I popped into the local model shop and bought a couple of packs of 28mm WW2 as a sample for a new project.
I feel better now. Still feel a bit shaky though.

Oh Thanks God! I was getting quite nervous for a minute there. Quick everyone send Humakt some minis so it doesn't happen again.

Seriously I couldn't do this even if I sold half my stuff, and never bought another mini again.

I unwittingly put on of my many boxes (albeit a large one) onto some scales and it weighed in at 5kg I must have near on 30-40kg of unpainted plastic and lead (which is nothing compared to some)

I'm getting very close to emptying my unpainted lead drawer. Decided about 18 months ago to paint everything remaining before buying any more stuff.
I'll let you know what happens when I finish the last bits in a months or so....

You are dicing with death man!

Don't you know that the day you have painted all your miniatures is the day you die. I always have a good stash of unpainted minis and a few unfinished pieces of terrain just to be on the safe side.
