I think it'll slow down a bit now. You get that flurry of excitement and then a bit of a fallow period whilst the more enthusiastic people bask in the glow of having done their bit.

lol

How true.

Still think it’ll be done rather quicker than the Age of Big Battalions though... that only took a year  ;)

I don't know, the Future wars one only took 15 days to fill a few years ago, I think like that one the fact that this is such a broad subject means it will fill out quickly too. Who doesn't have a random old Fantasy mini waiting to be painted in the leadpile?  ;)

I decided to make a new thread for my fantasy painting that this club sparked. In stead of filling up the club with it. To give everyone else a chance to participate.

Because like Mr. Tough Guy said, "Who doesn't have a random old fantasy mini waitin to be painted in the leadpile?"

Nice skeleton. Love the rust.
Great Dwarf as well Black Wolf. I reckon you should have put some LOTR style orcs in behind, hunting him. Would make a great little story :) Brilliant set up though. Really shows off the dwarf well.

Number 34

I have had this figure for 30+ years and have looked at it repeatedly but never got around to painting it.  :? Why you ask I can't say. So this thread gave me the perfect excuse. I wish I could say that this was the only ancient lead I have in the lead mountain but it's not.  lol Maybe I'll get a couple more done who knows. Thanks for the motivation

Great rust on that skeleton Mark. And not shiny at all ;)

A wonderful, evocative Blackwolf scene as usual Guy :-*

I love this guy. I always wanted it ever since I saw it in store as a kid. Never bought it until a few years ago from RPE. It's actually a heartbreaker half troll by Chad Elliott. One of my favourite lines.
