Some great sculpts there.  Not my game so I doubt they're as iconic for me as they would be for people who played it for years, but still some very neat designs.  The assassin with the crossed swords and the shipwright are particularly nifty.

I might take the option of picking and choosing through those to be honest. Plenty of achingly beautiful things, but I would only want some of them.

Brings back a lot of fond memories. DSA was where it all started for me!
The sculpts are simply ace.

I'm worried though about customs.

The guy in the smal business center of post canada told me to just not send them tracked or insured as this would allow me to send them as product samples. I've done that in the last 2 KS's and nobody paid Customs as far as I'm aware.

Canada Post won't normally ding anything under $50 for customs (they do it VERY seldom, like one out of every thousand packages, just to sort of maintain that they can), and even most packets with a value from $50 to $200 aren't touched.

Over fifteen years and hundreds and hundreds of purchases, I've only been hit once for the under $50 in fifteen years that I can recall and less than 5 times for the under $200. So you can't count on it individually, but you can mostly count on it in the aggregate.

That said, while tracking doesn't seem to attract undue attention for the under $50 packets, insurance ALWAYS gets the attention of Canada customs. In any case it's almost always cheaper to replace a packet or two which may go astray than it is to insure everything. Insurance is typically only ever worth it for ANYONE if they're sending stuff worth hundreds or thousands of dollars, not a handful of lead.

Also, anything but REGULAR BORING NATIONAL POSTAL SERVICES will absolutely result in not just the appropriate amount of customs, but excess customs charges, "brokerage" (i.e. we made it up to charge you more) fees, and sometimes even more on top. When shipping to Canada UPS, FedEx, DHL or other courier services are a BIG NO-NO. USPS, Royal Mail, La Poste, Deutsche Post, or any other national postal services are 100% the way to go.

Absolutely this  >:(

You can add Spain to that list. Courier services here are so badly regulated that poor service and excessive charges are inevitable.

The opposite is true for Denmark, and probably Sweden too as out national post services have merged.
Here the national post service have significantly higher handling fee than courier services.

Yeah - postage is never an easy topic.
I usually end up losing money on the P&P front.

Oog des Meesters (Das Schwarze Auge) was the first ever RPG I played, and I will always have fond memories of it.

I still have the original box, with loads of modules in it, plus my old character sheets and campaign notes. It was a Dutch translation, published by Selecta, and only carried by a toy store chain called Wigwam.

My friends and I traveled all through the country to visit all those stores in the chain, to see if we could find some more modules, and eventually had to resort to making our own adventures (which was even cooler, we found out).

The only miniatures we had were those in my set of Hero Quest, so those were put to use a lot. But to see that there will now be miniatures dedicated to the setting just fills me with nostalgic glee...  :)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

And here's a last update before I abandon this thread :--)

We've unlocked 32 minis which brings the price per mini down to about £3.50.
And since many were asking for that:

Here's a better set of size comparison shots.

The campaign is closing it's doors in 60 hours.
