A recent post here prompted me to investigate the Xenos Rampant hack, which I very much like the look of. We've played a bit of science-fantasy Dragon Rampant in the past using 15mm stuff, but the XR hack is much more comprehensive than our rule-bending for sf, which generally involved taking Elite Foot profiles past 10 points and adding Venomous for shooting.
We've got lots of 15mm primitives around (frog-men, lizardmen, ogres, giant ratmen, goblins, etc.), so some higher-tech types are needed to oppose and/or lead them.
Here are some early efforts: spacemen with an attempt to do object-source lighting shamelessly and ineptly ripped off from Spacejacker's sublime blog (Elite Infantry in a reduced-model unit of three); a crabman (first of a 12-strong unit of Light Infantry); an old robot; some old aliens (four more of those on the way for a six-strong unit of Lesser Xenos); and some fresh primitives (more on them
here).
Apologies for the squint photos: the Mac's basic photo-editor seems incapable of rotation other than a full 90 degrees.
