Stirring stuff indeed!
Does anyone make a 25/28mm vignette of some unfortunate Hero being carried from the field laid on his shield?

Not sure there's a vignette to point you towards Harry  :(
But Warlord Games has a Greek Hoplite casualty pack that has a figure lying on his shield that may be useful,the guys carrying the shield may have to be made out of some upright spear carrying minis though.
Not too difficult a conversion I should imagine  :)
Sorry can't do links I'm afraid but if you Google 28mm Hoplite casualties I'm sure images of the pack will appear.

Now that I've got more dead Hoplites than live ones work can begin. I've fettled the dead Warlord bloke a tad to make him look a bit more floppy on his great shield. Now for the Victrix quartet who are in for some serious surgery before they can tote our late Hero home.

ps I'm really glad I'm at that stage of old fartness where near enough is more than good enough!!!
