Hi all!
i´m planning to start a new small Project-SYW prussian hussars,
different regts, small Groups, mostly Foundry and some front rank.
The first fig is Trumpeter of Malachowski hussar regt Nr7,made by front rank

The figure is beautifully painted, I note the monogram on the sabretache is particularly well handled. I wonder if the Front Rank and Foundry figures will be a good mix as I haven’t found them to be in other periods.

Great paint job for sure. One thing, why don't you drill out the trumpet, as this is very easy to do and makes it look so much more realistic. The black paint thing just doesn't look good, and given what a great job you have done on the figure it just spoils it. Just my thought.... Again, great paint job!

I mix Front Rank and Foundry SYW ranges but not Napoleonics. They work fine. Some of the infantry I have to pick up and look hard to tell the manufacturer. With the cavalry the horses are different but I just mix the riders and horses and keep all the same horses in the same unit.
