Thanks! :)

Finished of the Hobgoblin/Tjubgob spearmen. Spears and shields supplied by the Tjublings of course, in return for slaves.

I've followed you on Instagram for a while, but I haven't said this clearly enough:

It's a pleasure watching your work, amazing sculpts with a lot of heart!

Thanks a lot!  :-*

Here are the Tjubgob/Hobgoblin Backstabbers. Backstabbers are usually deployed on the flanks in looser formations, in night raids or as a ”blocking detachment” to keep the front lines motivated.

Sorry, only just coming across this thread. What lovely miniatures! Two quick questions: did you sculpt the "normal" goblins shown on page 2? And will the hobgoblins be available on your Etsy site? Keep up the great work!  :)

Nope, those are Demonworld Goblins available from RPE http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk best 15mm fantasy range there is IMO. So much character, would love to one day be able to create something that level!

For more information regarding AM you can follow them on FB www.facebook.com/AdmiraltyMiniatures/ . But Im sure Ill post painted versions here once Ill start to add them to my army. :)

Dun-Khan - Lord of the Storm
Not the greatest among the Tjubgobs but without doubt the most feared, Dun-Khan leads a huge coalition of tribes referred to as the Storm. Dun-Khan has carved out a reputation as a ruthless warlord, who once had three betrayed allied chieftains bind and skin each other alive as they desperately begged for mercy, with the last remaining chieftain being force-fed his own large collection of knives and daggers. At another occasion, Dun-Khan fed poison into choice leaders of a rival tribe, thus sparking a stabbing frenzy around campfires as kinsfolk accused each other of betrayal. This served to weaken his enemy, and allowed for the malignant warlord to move in and scoop up the survivors of the bloodbath into his own growing ranks.

Such methods marked out Dun-Khan as a respected leader of Tjubgoblins, yet what earned his fame among the lordly Tjublings was when he on his own initiative dealt with the huge savage hordes of the Orc Gazrak the Ravager. Dun-Khan did this by ambushing and stealing away with a number of large Orc foraging parties, who were then promptly mutilated into large bits, each piece of forearm, thigh, foot and head being impaled on a stake all its own. One moonless night of howling winds and whipping rain, the Tjubgobs under Dun-Khan’s command toiled furiously and in devious silence with erecting a circle of grisly trophies around the Orc camp, leaving the loose fence open at one end. The Tjubgobs then lit fires under the impaled bits.

When the warlike nomads woke at crimson dawn, their eager nostrils and empty guts were greeted by the wafts of cooking meat, yet this teasing hunger only increased the horrible spectacle of their own kin butchered into bits and impaled in pieces, all around them. The rumbling guts turned it to an even greater panic, once the Orcs observed what was being cooked up for them. So much so that they forgot all about breaking camp and just bolted! The superstitious Orcs left camp in a violent haste to get out of this ring of death and bad luck, and the entire horde darted for the exit in the fence and kept running straight ahead, wild-eyed and panicked, thus heading down into an ashen canyon known as the Cleaver Wound. This wadi became the grave of the rampaging Orcs, for the building storm unleashed the full fury of its hellish weather, and the Orcs were swept away, drowned and dashed to pieces against dark rock walls as onrushing water masses stampeded down the Cleaver Wound. Thus ended a scourge of the Ashlands.

As a token of gratitude he was gifted the Stormbringer by the ruling sorcerer lords of Tjubba-Tjubbuz. Stormbringer is a mighty mace capable of striking any foes that come close with bolts of lightning!

Among common Tjubgobs Dun-Khan is seen as a divine being, maybe even a manifestation of the great wind demon himself...

Volsnik Smokebreath
An infamous Tjubgoblin shaman who has roamed the steppe for untold decades, striking fear and repugnance alike into all who behold his confusing manners and unhealthy body. No one knows how old he is, and no Tjubgob alive can remember a time when the scarred elders did not speak of this mysterious figure as someone who had wandered the wastes for as long as they ken. Volsnik is shunned by his own kin, as are so many shamans, yet many Tjubgoblins in trouble will inevitably seek him out in remote places, and perhaps invite him to the campfire by promises of roasted prey animals and captives to eat more or less alive. Often, those who approach Volsnik are ridden with sickness, or else they have ambitions both taller and more crooked than their felt caps. At other times they are paranoid over knives in the dark, which is admittedly a sensible mindset for any Tjubgoblin, because everyone, indeed, is actually out to get them!

If such maverick and desperate figures manage to appease the strange shaman by gifts and honeyed talk, they will be met by a fearful spectacle as the old Tjubgob inhale powders from his pouches, take deep breaths frantically, and work himself into a trance, often while ripping apart small creatures such as live rats or cockroaches to feed upon or use in weirder still ways for his ritual. Volsnik will then call upon the great wind demon with ululating chanting, his hoarse voice tearing at the ears of all nearby, until suddenly, his voice and stooped demeanour are all changed as the great wind demon possess him and fills his fragile frame with a fraction of its might. The possessed shaman’s back straightens out until fully erect, his shoulders square themselves, and his bearing and gestures become like nothing displayed out of trance by the decrepit old being. Thus invigorated and infused with a powerful spirit, Volsnik will talk with a strong voice in cryptic sentences, all the while deeply inhaling smoke from the campfire.
The words of the possessed Tjubgob will sometimes come across as instructions, at other times like riddles or an intense interrogation of those present, for the great wind demon is even more shifting and capricious than the supposedly mortal shaman it has taken hold of. Usually, the demonic harangue will transition into a majestic and terrible display, as Volsnik lets out a steady stream of curling smoke, a Smokebreath which does not cease and does not care for winds nor weather. For many minutes he will exhale without inhaling for a single moment, all the while breathing out smoke that whirls and form moving figures in the air. Often there will be scenes of vaguely shaped persons and beasts cajoling or struggling, or pointing out those present. At other times tendrils of this smoke will form gnarled grey hands that envelop around the throats of those present, or otherwise give signals with sooty fingers. The smoke visions come in varied myriad forms, for sometimes they will appear as silently screaming faces erupting out of the gaping mouths of other faces, At other times still, those witnessing this baleful act will see wolves of smoke springing from Volsnik’s mouth, to hound prey or lunge out at those present, or at non-present figures. Tales whispered in the saddle and around the campfires also speak of Tjubgobs choked to death by this smoke, or devoured whole.

Whatever the shape taken by these exhalations, no one has ever walked away from any of Volsnik Smokebreath’s trances unshaken. Indeed, the gnarled old shaman’s powers are so great that Tjubgoblin Khans are willing to offer him great spoils of war and Tjubling-crafted trinkets for Volsnik’s participation on the battlefield. In war, the magic of all Tjubgoblin shamans revolve around deceit, winds and smokescreens, with the lightning of storms being their main means of dealing damage to foes. For the sorcery of Tjubgob shamans taps into the howling steppe winds, whips up the blinding dust clouds, and draws forth the dark stormclouds to darken and befuddle their enemies, the better to outdeceive and ambush the victims of the Tjubgobs. The demons of the steppe are those of wind and dust clouds, and of smoke and lightning, for the blistering barrage of the elements wish to scour skin from flesh and flesh from bone in a merciless land where only the strong and the cunning may survive and prosper. For such is the unforgiving lands that shaped the Tjubgoblins, and such is the nature of these treacherous tribesfolk, and so, as follows, is their tricks and their sorcery. In trance, to the beating of drawn skin drums, and to the whirling smoke does Tjubgob shamans such as Volsnik Smokebreath ply their nefarious trade of storm and dusty winds, and woe betide those caught in their nets of shadows.

These two are Harpies from Ralparthas Demonworld range, added some greenstuff flames to make them fit a little bit more. They will primarily be used for Vanguard as Gargoyles for Abyssal Dwarfs.

Thanks! :)

Here are a bunch more, scimitars, two-handed hammer and command. Noticed that I had forgot the end/butt on some of the scimitars. Will have to add that... :P
