The dogma for this project is no conversions. And a limited paint palette.

Very nice paint job on all of the figures, seeing finished fantasy figures is always great to look at!

That looks fantastic. I've got the heroes finished, but I think you've pushed me to finish the whole game... tho I'll have a bit more as i have 2 of the expansions... I'll have to see where I can fit in this project to the 50 others!!

That looks brilliant. What kid wouldn't have loved to play with this set! (or adult)

Thank you for that Frede!

Your uncompromising painting style works really well with these old plastics.

I can’t wait to see more.

Today I forced Ms. Zombie and Zombie Junior to play a game.

They ran into trouble imediately. The Wizard was attacked by a Goblin that gave him two wounds. To teach him to not run around alone and ahead of everyone else who can actually fight.

They eventually found the evil gargoyle Verag and things got serious.

The Dwarf bravely rushed in to confront the Chaos warriors. But the two of them was to many and they killed him. But the Barbarian killed Verag the Gargoyle and the Elf cast a courage spell on him self and drank a might potion. And then he went to town on the remaining monsters.

That's really nice  - I really should resurrect and finish my 3d Heroquest project from 3-4 years ago.  I got all the figures painted and about half the scenery but then got sidetracked...

Hi there,

I registered after coming across this Heroquest thread.  I found a selection of my childhood Heroquest/AHQ minis earlier this year and I finally painted them after decades.

However i wanted to ask about etiquette before posting the pictures; should I start a new thread or should I add them to this thread?

Great painting by the way, I love the look of the Undead and Orcs & Goblins in particular, nice work indeed.
