Nice set up and nice figs too. looking forward to seeing what else you come up with in terms of figures.

I quite fancy this as a wee project myself, using TMWWBK.

Thanks  :)

We’ll be using a colonial version of Muskets and Tomahawks with a few adjustments for Chinese flavour.
cheers

I've not played Muskets and Tomahawks, what sort of numbers will you need to play?

Units vary from 6 - 12 figures, about five units a side gives a very nice two hour game.

We'll play at BLAM ;D

Well at the moment James you’ve  got enough minis painted for a quick game using FFOL:HM

Though in true FFOL fashion you’d have to name all the characters.....

Phat Whon as the leader of the Rebels?

I've already got the Japanese (which were the largest contingent in the conflict) http://www.oshiromodelterrain.co.uk/boxerfigures.html but I'm slolwy practising my sculpting to get the rest of the nations and Chinese underway.

Phat Whon as the leader of the Rebels?

Goes without saying  lol

Interesting. I didn’t know the Japanese were the largest contingent. It’s the European Legation that springs to mind for me but I clearly know nothing  lol (I think a Look & Learn article from the 1970s was probably my main source  ;)).

What about 55 Days at Peking with Heston and Niven? A great film!

You've never seen 55 Days at Peking?!

Its a good film, a fair amount of Hollywood artistic license, but it does capture the flavour of the siege I think.
