Really like your titans and the details like the car or the tank traps, too.

It took me a while to upgrade the SparkMaker with the new screen, and the upgrade itself did not go smoothly. Eventually though, I managed to do some better prints! Still amateurish, but the tanks are sharper than before. :)

I guess now it'd be time to do some more 3D models.

Cheers
Jack

This is a really sweet little project and I love how all the elements fit together, stylistically! Did you make the titans?

Thank you!
The titans are "medium" sized mechs from the 15mm White Dragon Miniatures line. Pretty excellent designs.

While printing some new stuff (and disperately trying to find some more design ideas for future sculpts), here some excellent Ground Zero Games figures just painted.

For the base colors, i tried mixing a grey contrast paint with some Army Painter black ink. The result was remarkably good!

C&C welcome, hopefully soon with more painted stuff!

What are the GZG flyers (I assume) either side of the tanks?

Might find some further inspiration here: http://roncobb.net/film.html

...and if anyone can do THIS in 6mil it's you...

I believe these are from this code (no pics, but that matches my order receipt): https://shop.groundzerogames.co.uk/6mm-dirtside/future-wars/df-v04.html

I'm now more into small mechs (4-6 meters tall) to sculpt and try to print! :D

Fair Enough! :)

I should paint a LOT of bases now, i have enough for all my figures three-fold, but it's better to make more and use them later rather than finding yourself trying to replicate a style you don't remember how to do anymore.

Glad to see you moving on with this again! And I think we've discussed this before, but army painter stuff, and GW contrast et all seem to get better results the smaller the scale.
3d designer, sculptor and printer, at your service!

Yay! slowing getting there.

Meanwhile, just sharing an impressively dense print i manage to do today!

Soon something actual original. Sorry for my recent mildness. :S

That looks very impressive

Interesting that you have printed the tanks and turrets vertically aligned.

Two big updates here:

FIRST:

I printed some models from thingyerse (I know, It's not my style, but i can't model EVERYTHING myself), and they look awesome!

With a hand of dark green, they already do the part. The bigger robots have some visible printlines, but will quickly disappear under a second hand of color.

Those bikes, though....

And infantry ain't bad at all.

You can find the page of the very talented sculptor here: https://www.thingiverse.com/Miffles_Makes/about

SECOND:

I finally based my Ground Zero Games tanks! Half of them, at least, the rest is still awaiting the final painting touches too. I decided to go with full bases to better mix with my infantry (see a few pages ago), and to give them a dynamic look.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! :)

C&C welcome, this whole thing is slowing coming toghether!

Cheers,
Jack
