Byblos, this ship model is absolutely incredible. You are a true artist and model maker. I can't wait to see the finished product fully armed and crewed.
How thick is the cardboard you use? Did you use a foam base interior?

Hi JB !
Yes i make aframe with foamboard : i use Canson 3mm thick, the Canson is of very good quality and resist very well to the water-based glue (white glue)
The cardboard is a 1mm thick one

Totally missed the start of this build. Looks like its shaping up to be another lovely build.I do like the way you scratch build with multimedia and use commercial pieces for ease and speed.

You'll get far less creasing in a card barrel if you precurve the card(the same way you would with decorative 'gift wrap' ribbons
)Before you curve it to form the barrel.
