Indian Mutiny
« on: September 22, 2018, 10:57:03 AM »
Thought I would post some of my Indian Mutiny figures which I have been painting recently. Nothing specific, just some British and Indian units.
Mainly Mutineer miniatures, AW miniatures and Iron Duke.

Cool. Reminds one just how much variety there was in British uniforms during that conflict. Bit of a poor show, really, you'd think they might have coordinated a bit more. All looks a bit messy when everyone turns up in different rig.

I like your style. It's simple but effective.

I like your figures,.
One of my favorite periods.
I love all the different uniforms the British wore.
Makes for a colorful army.

Those different rigs might be 'a bit messy' but sure is more fun to paint different uniforms rather than the same thing over and over.  Now, if I can only find time...already have the all the figures for the conflict I could ever imagine using.

I'm far from being an expert, but it's my understanding that the forces of the Crown and HEIC had more urgent matters on their minds than uniformity at this time.

Jeez, you guys, it was just a jokey comment (sometimes you get bored with just saying "nice" to every thread of pics). I unreservedly withdraw it, if it means you'll let it lie and talk about Terryb's figures instead. lol
