Might be worth looking at:

Thanks, Ultravanillasmurf, they are already in my queue, just awaiting painting! (I just bought a Carrier from Warlord too, don't think it will be done in time for the game though  :'( )

Not much in the way of posting recently due to construction of things like fences, canals and walls for the game. All the boring stuff has to be done but it's not really worth a photo. However, a mysterious staff car has been observed parked at the rear of the Snapcase Arms in Much-Piddling. Plenty of rumours but no facts have emerged as to the identity of the occupants.

Nice paint job.

The wheels look a bit small.

Yes, do you think it's the wheels or are the mudguards a bit big?

This has got to be my favourite thread to read and look at on LAF, really looking forward to how the game pans out, great back story and would make a better film I'm sure than some of those its named after!

Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying it. I'm setting up the terrain for the game today, so I'll post a photo later.

The front mudguard does look a bit wide, it is not so noticeable on the rear one.

The ground clearance looks small as well.

Not being at all knowledgable about the prototype, I would suggest jacking up the suspension and moving the front wheels out a bit. It does look like you could go from one lock to the other inside the front mudguard, not requiring a wheel well.

Just to be clear though, I would be more than happy to have painted something that good and be proud to have it on the table top.

Very kind of you to say so.   :)

It looks like the Staff Car is going to be a hairy drive for someone!

I have set up the 'On the Day, Went the Eagle's Landing Well?' table this morning. Quite pleased with the way it looks and an improvement on the first set-up back in March this year. Various views of the table here. Yes, I know I haven't finished the pub roof, but I will before Thursday!

Nice detailedboard.

Thanks, I wanted quite a complicated set-up with no real lines-of-sight and plenty of cover. Not quite sure how it's going to play out yet but we'll find out at the weekend!

It seems invidious to home in on just one scene amongst all this fantastic loveliness but I have to say, those chaps lined up by the moored narrow boat look a particularly fine body of men. I dare say they are led by a splendid, heroic type - ruggedly handsome, kind to animals and a bit of a charmer with the ladies. Eh...?

Thanks, gamer Mac. The game is being played on Thursday and Friday this week. After all the other games are played (see http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=113083.0) I will be starting work on the AAR.

I have to say Doug, you're probably right!   ;)  Obviously, only a commander with charm, erudition and wit could lead these boys into battle!
