Battles in the Age of War from Peter Pig?

Battles in the Age of War from Peter Pig

A friend of mine gave me a set of these rules today (which he has never used). Until now, I have been using Rob Broom's War and Conquest for my 28mm Samurai games, which certainly provides an enjoyable game, however, the rules are generic and can be used for ancients, medieval and renaissance periods. As a result, it might be fun to use a rule-set which are period specific.

Does anyone on the forum have experience of using Battles in the Age of War, particularly with 28mm miniatures?

Cheers,
Gareth

I played a bit of it in 15mm, and will likely revisit it for doing small battles in 6mm. There's some silly stuff in it (challenges to single combat....) but overall it's my favourite of the samurai-specific rulesets. Worth trying out anyway.

Cheers buddy

Having now read the rules a couple of times, its certainly different from many other sets out there, so I think its time to give them a roll.
