Gunbird doing Kill Team. Maybe. Mostly WIP.
« on: September 27, 2018, 12:51:14 AM »
With my local group getting into Kill Team and a bit of Rogue Trader RPG, I've decided to focus on a deserty world with Orks. Which happens to have a Genestealer Cult nextdoor. And Space Marines in black armour dropping in. (I'm really focussed, I swear!)

So here is the completely unrelated WIP of a Grot tank and a scrap robot thingie. Just because.

More random WIP's

(This scrap bot was made possible by the kind assistance of Daeothar)

I thought I recognized that guy! :D

You did some nice work on him; the conversion works really well and I especially like the new gun barrel.

And the turret is nice and scrappy too by the way.

Change out the Genestealers for Necrons, and you've basically just described Gorka Morka!  ;)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Space Marines in black armour? The Raven Guard? I really like the 19th Legion! Corax is cool, too.  :)
You've done a good Job so far.

Gunbird doing 28mm? I am very interested to see where this is going. Love it so far.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Both works are amazing, but I find the android conversion particularly inspired :-*. May have to shamelessly steal that!

Thinking of rebasing him to a 32mm. Pet peeve of mine in other scales is feet sticking out from their base.

And the idea is not mine, I was inspired by this topic here: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=111680.msg1396217#msg1396217

Haha - love it all.

Picked up a copy of the Core Manual today, so interested where this is going.

Really really hard to paint, but on and off I'm slowly getting somewhere.

For Roleplaying purposes I'm also slowly working on Genestealer Cultists, and I've slotted one of my favourite 40K vehicles into it, the Sentinel. As they are miners I grabbed the old Forgeworld Load Lifter pack out of my stash and I will be equipping the other one with a mining laser. But I want one with a bit more....Oomph.

Hmm, that should fit.....

Yup, does the job :)

Great conversion idea!

Cannot wait to see it.

Are you planning to use them with the Wrath & Glory RPG for 40k?
