Thought I would post a quick report on the Chariots rampant game we had at the Thule gamers this week.
This was a Three way fight between Some mildly lost North Europeans, Greeks and my New Egyptian marines. The prize was an ancient artifact near the oasis at the center of the table.
Egyptians
Greeks
North Europeans
For the first 3 or so turns the Greeks failed their activation rolls. Meanwhile the Egyptians and Europeans marched about a bit and chucked the odd pointy stick at each other.
Suddenly they were off. The Greeks could suddenly fail no roll.
The Chariots quickly advanced while the rest of the army moved up in support.
Bang in quick succession the Chariots took out first one Egyptian Fierce foot unit and then two. Following this up with a unit of archers. Meanwhile in the background the units with the leaders of the other two forces had been locked in combat and were slowly chopping each other too pieces.
The mighty Greek hero did a quick handbrake turn and looped round to pick up his prize and headed back to the rest of his army.
Well chuffed with his prize.
