Bullshott Goes Underwater - pictures from Beachhead show game
« on: October 01, 2018, 08:26:02 PM »
Towards the end of the 19th century the military ambitions of the Great Powers and their trading and exploration companies were based around carving out new territories in space. However, instead of searching for wealth amongst the stars, some enterprising companies looked to the uncharted seabeds of Earth's oceans for their wealth. Pedictably, it wasn't long before these companies came into conflict with each other and with national navies.

To start my project, here is a group of divers working for a British exploration company:

Figures are from a Meridian Miniatures kickstarter from a couple of years back. They are currently OOP, although strips of their helmets (and other helmet variants) are available from CP Models.

I'll be gradually adding more to this thread as I complete more divers, submarines and denizens of the deep.

Nice one Dave. What rules are you planning on using? FFOL?

Nice one mate! :-*

Colin and myself always toyed around with the idea of putting reflections of the water on the bases of the stuff we did for our Aquanauts game, but decided it’d have been too hard.

Always worth dropping a line to Meridian and seeing if they still have some left over.

You ever going to revisit that?

As 'native' opposition to my humans, I've been busy converting figures for gillmen. Here is a work in progress shot:
