28mm Figure comparison question
« on: October 06, 2018, 03:00:17 PM »
Can anyone shed light on the compatability of Redoubt, Old Glory, Foundry, and Askari Miniatures figures for use in various 19th and early 20th century armies?

Thx

Based on 28mm plastics (warlord & Perry) I would say Redoubt = large, Foundry = small

cant speak for the others

Don’t have them all, but here is Foundry, Warlord, Brigade, Copplestone Africa, Copplestone BoB, Old Glory

I only have Askari figures from their german in Africa range but they are rather small. I would mix them with RAFM or Ral Partha figures or the slimmest Foundry ranges like the Boer war.

Thanks guys.
One of my thoughts was the Askari range of figures ran small.

Old Glory & Foundry are about the same size. Askari are a little bigger, but not too much to mix. Redoubt are even bigger. I have some of all of these ranges in my collection.
