Oldhammer Miniatures by Andrew Taylor
« on: October 06, 2018, 03:05:02 PM »
This thread is intended as running in the long term for announcements of any models which the Oldhammer enthusiast Andrew Taylor release. I'm not involved in it, just sharing interesting miniature releases from a fellow sculptor. Lots of character in the sculpts. If you have any painted samples of your own or suchlike, then please share and discuss.

He has sculpted a bunch of 10mm scale Ogres, of interest for Warmaster collectors: Kickstarter up now!

Can we assume that there are no IP licencing problems involved with these scaled-down copies?

I find it kind of sad that someone who is clearly good at sculpting is just mimicking someone else's sculpts. Others mileage may vary  ;)

I like these, I really do, but I will be amazed if GW do not impose Cease and Desist on this lot. They have become a much nicer company in the past year or so, but not so nice to allow IP infringement. I would guess.

Bit of a dodgy subject this. Those figures are clearly heavily influenced by existing sculpts. I'm afraid I'm locking this.
