I'm back, saying hello.
« on: October 06, 2018, 04:09:08 PM »
I was here years ago, did a little painting, didn't fair well in the painters league.

I've been back to wargaming the last year, mostly playing 40K with the new edition, plus some other stuff. With the release of Pelenor Fields I'm also back at playing middle earth. I love the game and had my first real match yesterday; a small patrol of Mordor vs. Rohan.

I also picked up a bolt action starter to play with my group. I've taken the Germans and split the US with friends.

There's so much to do, so little time.

Couple of questions:

1) Where to host pictures? Should I get a free blog and post them there?

2) Bases. I've got a lot of Darkest Africa/Copplestone, etc miniatures. I was planning on using basic washers for the bases but saw the Frostgrave/Warlord style bases. Does anybody have experience with those or are there some real go-to cheapy bases that you've all been using.

Take care, I've painted more in the last year than my whole hobby combined. I hope to get some pictures up and join in with the fun.
