Verne-esque Gunslinger
« on: May 28, 2009, 12:09:18 AM »
I was flipping through my pile of Sci-Fi & Fantasy Models International magazines (reading material for the 'Throne Room', don't you know!) and came across this neat steam-powered gent in Issue 42 from way back in 2000.  It was apparently made for a series called 'The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne', from around 1998, of which I know absolutely nothing.  He would make a neat construct for somebody like Dr.Miguelito Loveless or, perhaps, even Professor Moriarty.  Have a butcher's and see what you think.

Why take Life seriously? You'll never get out of it alive!

They've been showing that here in Canada on the Space network every once in a while. Not a bad little show.

Guess if I turned the TV on once in a while I might see some things I missed! Literally haven't watched TV in almost a year and a half, now.

Hah, neat. Nice find.

I hear you, archangel1. These days I mostly just watch Daily Planet, Discovery Channel (and Discovery Civilization), Animal Planet, National Geographic, a little Space channel, and Future Weapons on the TV. Though it's not a daily activity of mine to flick on the telly. Oh, and that retro channel that has Bugs Bunny and some of that other stuff.
Everything is better with lizardmen.

Being woken up at 6.30 by a 2 year old sitting on your chest and singing Balamory while trying to insert a pencil into your brain via your eyeball; a typical morn in the Thunderchicken madhouse.  :)
Don't!
