Brigade Games - how good are they!?
« on: October 12, 2018, 09:53:40 PM »
Pretty bloody good, that's what.

I know we often grumble about poor service, so to redress that a little bit, I just wanted to say in public that Brigade Games are a first class outfit.

I have been looking at their stuff for a while, but ways shied away due to the postage costs. Of course, they can't help that, so I thought to hell with it, I'll do a wee order, some lovely not-Sharpe Paul Hicks figures to test the water.

The web order goes through easily, which I'm always nervous about when ordering from other countries, I get a confirmation within seconds, and the next morning I get a shipping notice. Not just that it's on the way, but tracked all the way to my door. In less than a week.  :o

So after a month, I realise I could probably do with some of their Spanish guerrillas as well, so I pop another order in, thinking it'll be here when it's here.

No, turns out it's not a fluke, Brigade are really that professional. Once again, order in hand in less than a week.

Lon, should you read this, you can count one UK customer as thoroughly happy with your service and also happy to recommend it to anyone else

Thank you, and bloody good show.

Totally agree Rob. Always had speedy and excellent service from BG (often rather speedier and more excellent service than from several wargames businesses on this side of the Atlantic!)
Highly recommended.

Always looking at their great figures, but I’m concerned I’ll get an extra cost off the Blighty Post Office if I get them shipped from USA to UK.
How do we stand on this ?

I think it depends on the value of the goods, but I'm not totally sure.

I only placed small orders for the lowest shipping charge, so I had no problems, but if you are looking at ordering in bulk you may have a surcharge.

Lon looks after this .... check your customs label and you will see how. I have always received brilliant service from Lon. I keep my orders a reasonable size as this helps both sides.

+1

This is the strategy for importing fromthe USA. Small orders. Sensible vendor.

Ok boys. I get the drift, but what’s a small order ? £20 worth ?
