We had a quick photo shoot this morning for a few extra shots for the ACP164 Almata Campaign book which is in it's final stages of layout and will be at the printers by lunchtime (today!!!).
The scene is set for an EDF Mech Infantry Platoon settling down to nighttime routines in a rear area to have a rude awakening.

Mech Infantry Platoon, Almata, laagered up for the night.

Today is a bit of a milestone day in the development of ACP164: The Albedo Miniatures Game. We now have in our hands the first glossy, full color printed versions of the ACP164 rulebook and sourcebook. It's been a huge undertaking spanning three continents to get from the initial conception to the printed product involving a great time of writers, illustrators, painters, graphic design and layout, proof reading, editing and finally printing.
The good news is that we are still on track to hit our original target of Kickstarter fulfillment by end of July followed by full retail release!

Printed proof for Albedo Campaign Book just received back from printers. It's huge and lavishly full color throughout. The scenarios and background material will provide for hundreds of hours of sci-fi gaming! We are looking to get copies out to backers by the end of next week and then it will be on full retail release.

Today we have added a painting and modelling section to the acp164.com website. From here you will be able to download the painting guide that appears in the hardback Albedo compendium. We have also put some handy paint sets together based on the Army Painter range with handy colors for painting EDF & ILR troops together with all of the other basing materials, tools and brushes from the Army Painter range.

That's certainly going to come in handy.  :)
Now I'll just need to sort out matching Vallejo colours...

I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Just received my kickstarter  package about 20 miniates ago (well I had to look
at it, didn't I). Looks good. I was only in for the skirmish starter set. Hope to add to
it in the future. Thanks Sally Forth.

Our sculptor, Maria has just posted an interesting and informative blog about how she went about creating our range of Albedo Miniatures. I was staggered to see that there are 300,000 variations of miniatures possible due to the way that the body poses, heads, tails and arms have been sculpted. I wonder who will be first to assemble them all?
