Greetings from Germany
« on: October 17, 2018, 07:02:50 PM »
I suppose it is only right and proper that my first post is to introduce myself.
Originally from England but living in Germany for the best part of 20 years.
Been wargaming for about 35 years, albeit with a break sometime ago.
After the "demise" of the Sweetwater Forum I have now arrived here.
Don't get to play much these days but try to paint and collect as time and family allows.
So, that's the basics...
Looking forward to some good times here.

Greetings to everyone.

There's a bit of a 'Brits in Germany' theme starting. I'm based in Karlsruhe.

Yeah, classic game. Used to play it too back in the 90's with a bunch of mates.

Ha. I get that expectation as well, although here it's an engineer. I'm not that either.

Vampire the Masquerade had a great atmosphere and a well developed background. I still leaf through some of the Rulebooks and enjoy the artstyle.

I hear that they still sell the old books as PDF quite successfully and that there is a new version. For me however Vampire, not unlike its major protagonists, will always stay like it was in the 90s and early 2000s.
