Have not played the game but have all the figures and have read the rulebook cover to cover. The rulebook is very pithy and well worth the money. Lots of flavor and depth, many scenarios, and a cool campaign system. Im interested to see how the hand to hand combat system works in play; it looks promising. Based on the quality of the rules, components, and figures I would highly recommend it. Will try to post up some more specifics when I have more figures painted and a few games under my belt. Would like to see a supplement for other Indian tribes/genres like Pacific Northwest Indians and Russians or Pueblo and Conquistadors.

We are actually looking at Flint and Feather Contact. This would be early European settlers circa 1605 thru 1670ish. It will include campaign rules to run English, French and Dutch alongside the First Nations tribe of Algonquins. Also, of course, we would do figures of said Europeans and Algonquins.

That’s cool. Probably a more natural segue than what I am suggesting  lol

Here’s another review,  once again based more on quality than actual play testing

The Combat system uses cards for attack and defense. They give a ratio of attack dice to defense dice plus bonuses for the weapon used. Also reputation points  can be acquired or lost depending on the card drawn. Then the dice are rolled with hits/saves being based on the figures quality. Plays quickly. Obviously the rules will explain this better.

Here's a couple of links to AARs of the game.
