Thanks man! I've used the same technique before for rust and verdigris and realized that the same technique could be used to represent other effects as well.

Thanks guys!

I've painted up a goblin from Knightmare Miniatures. I decided to experiment a little with the skin by using more realistic flesh tones. Really gives him an uncanny look I think! As always, moss is moss pads from MiniNatur. Mushrooms were sculpted with putty and wire.

He's great! And yes, the realistic skin tone makes him look much more like something out of an eerie folktale than a bright green ever could.

Painting a gobbo with Bronzed Flesh was always a good way to make a quick creepy chaos creature, but you have elevated it to artistic heights of horrific proportion. Thanks for the nightmares!

These are fantastic! I knew I've seen some of those before - turns out I've been following you on insta for a while now  :D

I will echo the general consensus - I really like the realistic skin colours. I think it makes the goblins seem more creepy, like some sort of twisted "uncanny valley" effect.

i also love that moss, better get some

Thanks guys  : )

My growing tribe of pale skinned orcs and goblins. I'm really enjoying this way of painting them. Closeups on my instagram feed.
