The majority scale for die cast cars etc is 1/43 (which is the O Gauge scale 7mm to the foot). They are noticeably larger than 1/48-50 scale.

The Crooked Dice Land Rover is 1/50, the Mantic TWD pickup is estimated at 1/43.

Siku does a couple of 1/50 but not WW2.

I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Thanks for your comments! I have a fair amount of Corgi, Solido/Verem and Matchbox that I bought some 10-15 years ago but I cannot remember the sources...beside ebay, whete would you source diecast military models in this scale?

I buy worn out ones from car boot sales in the summer- as I am going to strip and repaint and usually change the wheels I don't mind if they are broken or chipped.  I find ebay is the best though, especially if I buy job lots of such broken ones.

Not sure what you're looking for in vehicles, but the ones posted earlier are more luxurious types.  If your not against building models, there are a few out there made by Tamiya and ACE models in 1:48.  I did several as I needed abandon/blown up types.  Good luck on your search.

QuarterKit in France was a top Verem/Solido reseller, still carries many of their diecast kits plus conversion kits as well.
