Update on the castle, now that the build stage is complete. The latest additions still need undercoating and then it’ll be on to painting and finally detailing. Hopefully my motivation can be sustained

Silly question, but how have you done the second floor insert? Is it a smaller tube that slots in place?

Thanks and not at all a silly question.

As I wanted accessible rooms on at least two levels of each of the towers, I decided to use a capped cylinder for a removable second floor:

From Hobbycraft:

The main body was cut down to the height required for the room, while the lid became the basis of the tower turret. The foamboard cylinders were obviously sized to fit the hobbycraft product.
