Some Scandinavian Postapocalyptic Nostalgia
« on: November 04, 2018, 03:51:43 PM »
As titled, some miniatures as a homage to a 33 year old Roleplaying Scenario. Also some nice miniatures from Interloper. More picture and background on the blog, link here https://rollaone.com/2018/11/04/jarnringen-the-iron-ring-mutant-1984-part-1-opening-scence/ . /Hope it is of some interest!

That looks fantastic! RPG's are always better with minis on the table. :-* 8)

I think 'Mutant' is related to 'Mutant: Year Zero', yes? We have been playing MYZ (with minis!) since last summer. It's so much fun.

Interloper Miniatures have a great range that features some fantastic sculpts by talents like Bob Olley. Totally worth investing in.

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Nice to see some good old Mutant. That is really nice work you´ve done there and it sparks fond old memories for me.

But where's Donald Duck?  lol

I think that would have to be Arne And.

Thanks for the comments gents.  Yes it is the original Mutant rpg released in 1984 that is set in a more settled world than Mutant Year 0, in fact it is year 109 since the foundation of the Pyri Commonwealth. We had great fun with it back in the day - this is very much a tounge-in-cheek project and great fun.

As for good old uncle Donald Duck, not sure he would last very long, but as stated there is this Swedish anti-hero called Arne Anka (Anders And) - he said "With a fair iron pipe you hit the world with amazement!"! That is probably more suitable.
