It's been a while since I even looked at my figures and doing the rural temple has gotten me interested again.

I went through my figure boxes and found (I'd forgotten) that most of them were in the process of being re-based from squares to pennies...

Below are the photos of what needs to be done. There are quite a few figures that have been based but need a touch up and a new coat of varnish but I'll do those later once these are done.

I'm going to try a little bit in the morning and a little bit a night and see how we go. The first ones were finished last night as they didn't need much doing at all.

I've got some cavalry as well but they'll probably be the last to get sorted.

Thanks gents  :)

Another eight down, a couple of hundred to go  ::) lol

The advantage with these ones is that the sand was already on. Most of the rest, I’m not so lucky.

Nice work, as always!

Do you paint the edges of the pennies? If so, is varnish needed to protect the paint?

I look forward to seeing your cavalry basing - are you going to use 40mm diameter Soviet 5 ruble coins?  lol
