A test figure for the Dothraki

Basically a Gripping Beast Arab Light Cavalry figure, with some green stuff fur, and topknot added, plus a Frostgrave Cultist sword, with a few minor tweaks to the shape.  Originally I was going to go with the Warlord Celt barechested torso, and then add a green stuff jacket, but given I’ve got snow covered bases, I’ve gone for the winter clothing version from Season 8.

Let me know what you think?

P.S...anyone that is UK based and has any spare Frostgrave Cultist swords they are willing to part with, please drop me a PM...

 :)

Yeah, that works! Really wish there was more than one of those swords on each sprue, mine are already used up.

Great Job... i keep wondering if I should start collecting for these for if CMON is going to come out with an expansion... I thought I'd have to hand make the weapons.. I think that one is a nice match. You could make a small mold and pour resin copies to keep from having to buy a lot of sprues of the other stuff...

Keep doing that, Matt! That'll be an excellent hoard in the end.

Thanks everyone, glad you like the Dothraki test figure...all I need now is lots more...

Didn’t make it to Partizan today (my original plan), but I did manage to finish another 24 figures this weekend, so not bad!

I don’t have any real plan or army list I’m working to, but I do like the six figure movement trays, and the bases look good in groups of four, so I wanted to round out a couple of Houses.

As a result, I’ve added (Left to Right) six figures to House Prester, a dozen Lannister’s and six more to the Lefford retinue.

I also took the opportunity to take a group shot of the Lannisters...again photography isn’t my strength, but you get the idea.

:o That's a real impressive set of Westermen! Amazing set of Lannisters too, even before factoring in the other vassal houses!
