I started building a slice of King’s Landing ....as you do!

Just a casual capital-city building side-project!  lol

Impressive looking terrain though, and like you say, perfect scale for the Perry figures! Looking forward to seeing more!

Thanks everyone, have some more pondering to do before the next move on the terrain...but in the meantime, I managed to finish the Thenn.

I decided to go with bronze weapons as per the book version...hopefully the weathering looks ok.

The skinchanger is a Mantic Kings of War Northern Alliance clansman....not great figures tbh (overly large, soft detail) but as a one off I think it fits the bill, with the help of a bit of green stuff.

Nice work! I like the way you've gotten the faces done, the furrowed-brow highlights are great!

Thanks everyone.

I’ve got a week off work now, and a small mountain of Perry Medieval arrived this morning fresh from eBay - a bunch built but unpainted, some badly painted ...”caked” is the word that comes to mind...not sure they are worth the bother of salvaging, AND a truck load still on the sprue.

Hopefully I can fill in a few gaps in my project this week.

 :)

Ok, Day One of my week off, and only one figure painted to show for my time, but it’s a big one.

35cm from wing tip to wing tip, and 28cm from head to the end of the tail....the base is 20cm in diameter.

A Perry figure to show the size....
