Lovely additions, mate.
Good figure choices too, especially the Red lass.

I am another big fan of Claymore Castings, lovely sculpts by Mr Bickley.
They tempt me sorely, even though I have no current projects that they would fit into.

Thanks everyone, glad you like them...they’ve been sat there intimidating everything else in the paint queue so it was nice to be able to chalk off another unit. :D

At this stage, I honestly don’t know...I enjoyed painting them, although drilling the hands for weapons isn’t my favourite task...ok if you are doing 1 or 2 figures, but 24 at a time becomes a bit of a drag. I might add a second unit of Umbers using the Antediluvian Minis range (same sculptor?).

It’s also a case of trying to find the right look for each House...I’ve bought figures before with one House in mind, but ended up painting them for a different one just because it seemed a better fit if that makes sense?

As it stands, I’ve got a scarily large amount already in the paint/build queue, so will have to see.

The later Antediluvian scots are the same sculptor yes, Matt Bickley. They also need their hands drilled out which is a little bit bothersome, especially the ones with both hands on their spears/pikes. They are fantastic sculpts though, well worth it in my opinion.

The latest update goes beyond the Wall....

Children of the Forest... (Sprites from conquest games)

The right hand mini is a minor conversion...the casting has a small throwing spear.

“packs of pale white spiders big as hounds” .... (Copplestone)

and another undead bear for the Night Kings Army (Dead Man Hand Minis)

I was disappointed by the lack of spiders in the show... great to see that addressed here! Brilliant work as usual mate. Your choices are spot on.

Thanks everyone, glad you liked the spiders...I agree I think they missed a trick in the TV series (unless the CGI budget was all spent on dire wolves and dragons).

It would have been great to have seen thousands of spiders climbing the Wall, perhaps towing an undead each....

Well done Matt. Those are absolutely perfect for the children of the forest.
Great job on the Claymore figures too.
And actually, that CMON Ser Gregor is probably the first one of that range of licensed miniatures that actually looks like how imagined the character. Not too outlandishly fantasy-looking (for a giant ;))

Once again leading the way on 'miniatures I was looking at buying but wasn't sure about'  lol

Specifically, those Children of the Forest / Sprites. I'd never actually clocked how similar to the GoT show Children they are! They look fantastic in your style. And the ice spiders are great as well, I didn't realise the Copplestone sculpts were so sharp.

Another update on my little project, or as Ultravanillasmurf called it...

Akula's "painting everyone in Westeros" thread.

 lol

Managed to finish a second unit of Unsullied last night...Victrix Hypaspists with FF Byzantine heads.

Fittingly as I finished these it started to snow.

I also had time for to paint up Daenerys...a Hasslefree mini...not sure if I’m happy with the colour scheme...added some blue to the grey, might redo it a bit darker.  :?

Group shot with the first unit, and command figures

Great work! And the Dany colour-scheme looks fine to me! Sets her apart from the bunch without being too garish

We need a more detailed shot of Daenarys.
