Yup, a little bit of putty for the face covering, and then a strip from a blister pack for the “spike”

 :)

Excellent.

We need a more detailed shot of Daenarys.

Hopefully these are ok (every time I post a photo that is much bigger than actual size I think it looks like it was painted with a roller). Not the greatest of angles but she is holding what looks like a dragon glass knife

Very good.

Is that the HF Frost Queen?

A roller much smaller than my paint brush.

Spot on  8)

Funnily enough I’d originally planned to use the mini for Sansa Stark

Just a few tents during this update

Firstly, another 4 resin ones from Grabblecast (excellent quality & customer service) for my Wildling army. MDF Base is from warbases 6” x 8”

Group shot of my wildling camp

I also had time to paint up some plastic Renedra tents, to represent the camps of various Houses....will add some banners on separate stands so that they can be used for various forces, as needed. Bases are from Sarissa 8” x 8”

Great work on the snow-weathering on the canvas!

Great work on the snow-weathering on the canvas!

Thanks mate, easy to do just dry brushing from a few different angles with a big soft brush.

The tents are part of planning ahead to running a campaign, but there are also plenty of opportunities for an encampment to feature in games, even just using the screen time from the TV series.

My main quandary about a campaign is when to start, and how large to make it - the trouble is, that I want to just game the whole of Westeros...  ;D

Two years in, I’d say that forces that are looking fairly filled out are as follows:

The North
Westerlands
Wildlings

Forces that still need a lot of work

Riverlands
Stannis Baratheon
Targaryens
Golden Company
Army of the Dead

Forces that are barely started, or not even begun

The Reach
The Vale
Dorne
Nights Watch
IronBorn
Sellsword Companies
Hill tribes

Based upon this, I could try a straight Stark vs Lannister campaign, or even a Battle of the Bastards mini-campaign, perhaps to try out some fledgling campaign rules, before I attempt to refight the War of the Five Kings.

 :D

Very nice. I like those wilding tents - very restrained.

Just tidying up a few Houses currently, where units aren’t quite at full strength

Managed to finish off House Tully this weekend - another 8 infantry, plus half a dozen metal Perry cavalry (photo of the Cav was a bit blurry, so I’ve included a group shot of the Riverlands forces, including House Bracken.

Two thirds of the Riverlands forces are courtesy of Silent Invader...I’ve just rebased them, and tweaked a few figures for House Bracken.

I’m definitely going to add some Frey’s as well, once I’ve decided on the right minis for them.

:o Didn't expect that many Riverlanders already! Excellent work!

Nice touch with the fish badge on their chests too!
