Nice hairy wights! Are you going to paint them up in particular house colours?

I did think about having some House themed dead....perhaps later, to add some colour to the horde...for now though I need numbers.

 :)

The first of my band of free folk...apologies once again for the rubbish photos.

Left to Right (Copplestone - Elladan - CMON)

The Copplestone figure appears to now be OOP, I’ve added some green stuff around the shoulders and around the boots so it fits in more with the others. The CMON figure is v.marginally taller...but the heads of the CMON figures are smaller than the other ranges...(not so much an issue with the hooded wildlings though).

I also managed to finish my Bolton cavalry

The officer is a metal Perry, and the others are Crusader Miniatures.

Oh wow! Spoiling us with loads of updates this weekend!

I really like your Tormund! Surprised how well the CMON free-folk scale with the others though, nice to see they're not gigantic in comparison!

Nice to see your finished Boltons too! Keep up the good work!

Well I’ve got some time off this week, so I hope to make a bit more progress... so many things on my todo list.

Must confess I was surprised the CMON free folk fitted in, but then the Copplestone figures are pretty bulky - I’ll take a comparison with a Perry when I get a chance - I don’t have any of the other factions, as I’m not a big fan of some of the sculpts..lots of two-handed swords and massive halberds.

The Elladan range has lots of useful minis - must get some more when I get a chance...my only gripe is multi-part metal minis, but as it’s only a few characters rather than a whole army I can live with it.

Re:Boltons - I’ve still got a whole bunch of the foot to finish off, but the cavalry had been lurking around on my paint table and I kept stabbing myself with their spears

 lol

That's a great Tormund Giantsbane  :-*

You are a machine, Matt! I don't know how you churn them out so fast...

Thanks everyone, glad you like them

What I lack in quality, I make up in quantity

 :D

Next up will probably be more free folk & some more dead, but those dastardly Boltons are also tempting me...oh, and I’ve also got some Zvezda catapults that I quite fancy building   ;D

Today’s progress...didn’t get as much done as I’d hoped, but should get some more finished this week.

Some more free folk, and a dire wolf

The three leftmost are from CMON, and the other two are Copplestone, with some green stuff fur.  CMON seem to like flails...I guess they are a simple weapon if you haven’t got a lot of metal, so loosely make sense for Wildings ... but I’m not a massive fan, as it just makes the multiples of the same figure look more obvious, so I’ll be replacing them on any of the other figures I use.

I picked up the direwolf from Bad Squiddo games at the York show...size wise it fits in well with the other two metal wolves I got off of fleabay.

Thanks Phil - more gingers on the todo list, along with some conversions of the CMON sculpts.

Have spent much of today ferrying children about, and currently enjoying the weather, so today’s update is pretty small:

The Night King
From Elladan

Still have the mounted version to finish.

Catapult
It’s a 1/72 from Zvezda but fits in well with the rest of my figures.

Haven’t made any crew yet, but they will be separate, so I can use it for different Houses.

Putting us to shame with all these updates!   :o

I really like the way you've painted the ice effect on the Night King's weapon! Also, the colour scheme you've got for the free-folk fur coats works well, keeps them unified while still looking rag-tag!

Thanks both  :)

Made some more progress today

Painted up another 5 wildlings (on the right hand side in this group shot with the others I’ve painted this week) ... more gingers as requested by Phil.

Undead Giant
I’ve modified another copy of the Wun Weg from Elladan....plenty of green stuff added, plus arrows (from a Perry sprue) spears etc. I’m tempted to get another one, and change the leg position, articulate the fingers, and perhaps add a tree trunk club.

Mounted White Walkers
from Elladan

Loving the wildlings! They're looking great grouped up en masse!
