Nice  :)

So, what’s you predicted timeframe for doing the entire population for Westeros then  :D

At this rate he’ll be done by Christmas.

Nice work! Sarsfield is definitely one of the more neglected houses!

Cheers all  :)

Maybe next year  ;)

Next up is House Estermont, pledged to Stannis

The figures are from Black Tree Design, with shields from Gripping Beast. Standard Bearer is from Crusader Minis.

Group shot of Stannis’ forces so far....

Matt, I am starting to think you are obsessed  lol
The ginormous aircraft carrier was one thing. The entire population of Westeros (and bits of Essos) is something else again  ;D

They look great.
(In metal too  :o. Good job so much of this ever expanding collection is in plastic, or you’d be needing to strengthen the floor joists of your house  :D)

Just stellar. By focussing on so many lesser-known houses you're really creating a sense of verisimilitude the show lacked for me. I love it.

Great to see some Turtle Power for King Stannis  :D

I'm always a bit hesitant painting up Estermonts because I'm never sure what green to use! You've done a great job!

Thank you everyone for your kind words, I’m glad you like them.

Matt, I am starting to think you are obsessed  lol

You say that like there is something wrong with being obsessed  lol

I’m just going where my muse takes me...I can’t help it that it’s been stuck on Game of Thrones for the last two years...

Thank you mate, although I had to check what verisimilitude meant  ;)

I’m reading the books at the moment, and the extra Houses definitely add to the flavour IMHO. I will eventually get around to building a campaign system...impressed by your own work, and that of Silent Invader’s ECW campaign, and multiple Houses provides more interest....my homegrown rules also reflect this, as I use separate activation cards for individual Houses, giving an element of divided command.

Yeah, but we both know that Stannis wouldn’t be happy    lol

As our resident Baratheon, you will pleased to know I have plans for more forces for Stannis though  ;)

I just love this thread,  you've given me so many ideas over the last two years for my own GOT armies, they've been on a backburner for most of lockdown as I was conned into doing a British/loyalist army to fight my main gaming partners traitors in the 13 colonies. The last unit I did for GOT was from house Lefford, I could do another one of them before Christmas if i got my finger out. Keep up your amazing work and output  :)

Thank you both, very kind of you to say so.

I would love to see your take on the Leffords - the more GOT threads the better  8)

Next up I’d like to share some test pieces .... inspired by Captain Blood’s excellent work.

For my homegrown rules I need something to signify Activation, Routs, space fillers for my movement trays, and some casualty piles, as I hate seeing loads of tokens on the table.

Activation markers

I liked the idea of using ravens for activation - these markers are made by using Dead Man Hands Minis Crows...the tree stumps are greenstuffed.

Routs

Casualty pile

Not strictly necessary, but just taking figures off the movement trays leaves the table looking too clinical.

I’ve also got it in mind that they will come in handy for when I play a game with the Night King on the table.

 :o :-*

Excellent. That pile of bodies looks like a scene straight from The Battle of The Bastards!

Love the crows too. And the running men. All so well done. Nice work Matt.

Really great work! The crows are top notch especially, the green-stuff'd treestumps have turned out fantastic!
