15mm Mongols released (ad)
« on: November 08, 2018, 02:40:58 PM »
We are very pleased to release the first wave of Mongols in 15mm, made as enemies of our huge Feudal European range, but the Mongols are ready first!  The first wave has the mounted core of the Mongol army.  There are light horse archers, heavier cavalry in leather armour (shown here), the guard cavalry (including a set shooting their bows), and high command.

Each set can be purchased with the short-legged Mongol ponies, or with somewhat larger steppe ponies which the Mongols acquired when they took over, well, virtually everything.  The guards and command can also be purchased on armoured horses.

Superb figs! Too bad for me though as I already have done Mongols and Chinese to fight them in Kallistra 12mm. These look great though.

Those look great!  When are the feudals being released?

I have to get some of the codes painted or inked up so I can give the gamer some idea of what he's buying!  :-) That's been the main impediment so far.

Also some of the codes will be usable for either the 13th C or our existing 14th C range, such as the Cumans and Szekely border horse for the Hungarians.  Also Welsh archers, Teutonic auxiliaries, etc.  So I should really release those first for the 14th C range, and then make sure they are consistent in the 13th century line.  There, aren't you sorry you asked now?  ;-)

Ha!  Good to hear that there are more 13th century figs coming.  Looking forward to them.
