633 Squadron
« on: November 09, 2018, 09:50:27 AM »
I know this is probably an unanswerable question, but i remember attending a UK wargames show back in the 80s, think at the old snooker place, where there was a 633 Squadron Game, one player trying to get a hit on the Factory, whilst the umpire ran a programmed defence, so my question is, does anyone know what the rules were, or even have a copy?

Best film theme ever!  :D

The great Ron Goodwin orchestra (who also did Where Eagles Dare, another classic).  ;D

My brother had it on a 45" record and we played it endlessly whilst acting out  the aerial combat scenes. Happy days! lol

It was Shaun from the Bunker. Home-brewed rules.
He occasionally loiters on here.

I'd love a copy of the rules if they're still available. We're doing 633 Squadron for the Crimbo Wargame with Corgi diecast Mossies whizzing down a fjord and bombing the mountain.

:)

Round about 1:144, wingspan about as wide as your hand.

Finally found my copy, unfortunately only consists of umpires notes.
You will have to contact Shaun for details of the cards used.
Good luck. Douglas
