Help Needed: Chariot Kitbash
« on: November 15, 2018, 10:33:49 PM »
So I've had a crazy idea and am about to get a couple of months off with a nice wad of severance pay and decided to make it a reality. I'm going to take this GW monstrosity:

And make it into a 'Thor's Chariot' for supers gaming.

I already have the Thor to go on there, but I'm having trouble finding a suitable Toothnasher and Toothgrinder. Keep in mind that the GW scale will necessitate quite large goats, and I'm not adverse to cyber/cyborg goats if they look good.

Any suggestions, LAF brains-trust?

Remove Space Marine, place Thor in back. And try to get the Knight Models Thor; it’s discontinued and probably expensive, but a beautiful model!

Hadn't heard of that company before they have some lovely figures.
I think the goats will scale up fine there is a picture of them with riders so they are bigger than normal goats no sure how thay will scale up with the GW stuff though

My first thought was searching for 1/35 (54mm) or 1/48 (40mm) figures.

There's this (from all places somewhere local!):

Price may be an issue, but Google image search shows me there's a bit out there.

Or maybe Hasslefree?

Go for the Atlantis ones, they look like they could pull Thor's chariot,
besides you could use the 3rd one in a Jason & the Argonauts/ golden fleece game.

Thanks for the prompt replies, I'll get myself some of those nice Atlantis goats, the dynamic poses sold it for me. The spare one can get some panties sculpted on and be Toothnip.  lol
