Sssh! Or else Warlord might buy the range and they'll never be seen again.  ;)

Probably representative of the army to serve and protect the deceased Royal in the afterlife  (much like the ancient Egyptian ushabti).

Better put a note in my will to request a burial complex of my own for my own collection...  o_o

I doubt that a metal collection will withstand 2000 years of burial just as well as burnt clay...

Still unpainted after 2100 years? I suddenly feel a lot better about my backlog.

Saw the Terracotta Army near Xi'an twelve years ago. It is quite the spectacle.

Cool! There are what may be two ox carts at the lower right!

This should be interesting:

Quote
After excavation was complete, archaeologists from this agency analyzed the artifacts, working with researchers from the Shandong Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology. A report on the pit was first published, in Chinese, in 2016, in the journal Wenwu. This report was recently translated into English and published in the journal Chinese Cultural Relics.

Here are the pertinent contents of Wenwu (Chinese); am still looking for details on the more recent English translation:
