Warfare 2018 - Wargames Association of Reading
« on: November 18, 2018, 11:53:53 AM »
I attended this weekend's Warfare yesterday and have put together my thoughts on the day together with an impression of some of the games featured.

I thought that the games hall was very messy. It was hard to get around the games to get a look at them, and by early Sunday afternoon there were stray chairs all over the place.

It did seem quieter than other years, but some of the traders I spoke to said that the Saturday had been a bit livelier. As you say, there was a good range of traders there and I came away with two (large) unexpected purchases in a 15mm sci-fi army from Ground Zero Games and a Mk1 Transit and some scooter riders from Crooked Dice (for a project that we're calling 'Gaslands 1969'). My planned purchase was some beastmen and a stone giant from Conquest Games.
