Advice on Interwar Japanese Colonial Officials

I am trying to get together some minis to represent Japanese colonial officials for a game. Does anyone have any advice on where I can look? I don't think that pith helmets would work well. Most pictures that I have seen show them in tropical linen with straw hats (boater types). Many thanks.
