Tellus, brilliant entry - amazing photo!

Some infos for my entry:

Figures f.l.t.r.: Metal Magic Dunwich Detective monster; Asgard alien figure by Nick Bibby (really old ...); Rafm Cthulhu hound; Citadel horror fig (not sure about it ...); centre miniature is the Sludge Gulper from Heresy sculpted by Kev White.
Tanks are Containment Units/Bacta Tanks from Tony Colasante (Ebay: tonygriffon) filled with clear resin from german model railroad company Noch (2K Wasser-Gel).
Background from a Giger-book.

Thanks for all your nice comments.

OMG I can't decide.  Both entries are amazing.

The variety of figures used in the first entry, somehow tied together with a similar theme and paint scheme, plus the work of the resin tanks?  Wow.

But the second pic looks like a still photo from a film!!   Lovely bases, perfect skin tones, simple but effective and evocative background...

Yeesh...

Fantastic work on both!   :-* :-* :-*

Unless I miss my guess, the Giger image is one from his "train" series from a dream sequence illustration unused in Alien?  You selected that because of the horizontal pattern in the artwork serving as a less distracting background?

Outstanding brushwork as well, both of you.

Both great entries indeed! Fantastic work on the fabric again Tellus, as well as on the horse (and the skin and the scenery ;)). And of course the admiral's entry is another real treat! The only thing I don't like too much is the base used as a manhole, it just sticks out of the floor too much IMO. Other than that great brushwork and a very inspiring entry.
