Netflix Mohawk - don't bother

I watched the Netflix Mohawk film - two hours I'll never get back.    I was drawn in by the warpaint, quite nice. I wasn't put off by the Yanks being the bad guys, but the directing, acting, plot and historical color didn't cut it. The bad guys are one-dimensional, and so are the Mohawks and their British officer-agent friend/lover. A menage a trois is chased through the woods by a squad led by a psychopath. Lots of gore, if that floats your boat. Spoiler: early on, the US colonel is killed. The ultimate bad-guy captain takes over, telling his small squad that he just got promoted and they should now call him colonel. Right. I find it hard to stop watching a film once begun, and have watched a number I should have quit on. This was one of them. Your mileage may vary. But don't say I didn't warn you.

I just had to check this out last night.I lasted 20 minutes (It wasn't easy) until the captain promoted himself.One thing this proves is that making a movie is truly an art.My all time favorite movie is Last of the Mohicans and I had to put this on for about a half hour to get the taste of Mohawk out of my eyes and ears.

Netflix also has one called Frontier with Jason Momora starring.I had high hope but was disappointed in it.Still it's 1000 times better .than Mohawk.

That would be Jason Momoa. I quite like it and you can get a lot of ideas for skirmish games.
