I watched the Netflix Mohawk film - two hours I'll never get back.
I was drawn in by the warpaint, quite nice. I wasn't put off by the Yanks being the bad guys, but the directing, acting, plot and historical color didn't cut it. The bad guys are one-dimensional, and so are the Mohawks and their British officer-agent friend/lover. A menage a trois is chased through the woods by a squad led by a psychopath. Lots of gore, if that floats your boat. Spoiler: early on, the US colonel is killed. The ultimate bad-guy captain takes over, telling his small squad that he just got promoted and they should now call him colonel. Right. I find it hard to stop watching a film once begun, and have watched a number I should have quit on. This was one of them. Your mileage may vary. But don't say I didn't warn you.
